Dimensions: 43.5cm (h) x 32.5cm (w)Produced in collaboration with Gemini G.E.L. in 1971, Claes Oldenburg’s “Geometric Mouse” series featured abstract sculptures that playfully interpreted the form of a mouse. The series includes multiple scales, each with distinct characteristics:Scale C: Crafted from black anodized aluminum, this version measures approximately 66 × 52 cm (26 × 20 1/2 inches). An example is housed in the National Gallery of Art. NGA.GOVScale D: A smaller, DIY-style edition crafted from die-cut, laminated paper with photo offset printing. Its movable parts connect with stainless steel wire hinges and bead chains. Standing 11 inches tall with 6-inch ears.Condition: Very good in its original acetate covering. Some browning and foxing to card. Slight mildew spotting to bottom right-hand corner near text.
