The music of Booker T & The M.G.’s is in the consciousness of every member of the record buying public, whether they know it or not, as their tracks have been well used over the years as themes for TV sports programming. However their starting point was with the original Green Onions way back in 1962, which became a wonderful earworm that affected and inspired so many aspiring young musicians.
