Penrite Classic Plus 15W-50 is a very high quality, mid-detergent engine oil designed specifically for engines manufactured between 1950 and 1980, including motorcycles. Suitable for use where 20W-50 are recommended. It contains a special additive pack that suits vehicles of the era and exceeds the manufacturer specification requirements required during this period, hence offering a greater level of engine protection compared to original oils. Classic 15W-50 meets API SL/CF engine oil specifications and contains optimised zinc levels for added anti-wear protection for older engines. Classic 15W-50 also meets the JASO MA specification, making it suitable for use in motorcycles fitted with wet clutches This full-bodied, heavy duty oil, gives excellent film strength under load and resists loss of viscosity when used in combined engine/gearbox applications.
