Tippmann Airsoft Rifle CO2 or HPA Powered The Tippmann Airsoft M4 CQB HPA Rifle has an awesome gas blowback (GBB) system, which significantly increases the level of realism of the game and can be powered by a HPA system as standard or 12g CO2 capsules by using the optional magazine for ultimate flexibility. The standard method of power with the CQB is HPA. Unlike the Tippmann Airsoft M4 Carbine this is how the CQB model is supplied – you just need a tank and a line and with this method you can use standard AEG magazines! The second method of powering the rifle is via a CO2 bulb which is installed directly in a special magazine (Co2 magazine and parts not included). When inserting the magazine into the gun the bulb is punctured, which supplies gas directly into the system. Each mag change requires a new CO2 bulb and reaches a muzzle velocity of 300fps. Rate of fire depends on the power settings and ranges from 8 to 20 BBs per second!
