In its lightest form, it substitutes injection-moulded fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) scales with a high-traction Bi-Directional Texture pattern for the original’s G-10 scales. The Ambitious Lightweight Black Blade advances evolution by completely encasing the 8Cr13MoV stainless steel blade in a non-reflective black oxide coating. The four-position pocket clip, additional hardware, and the handle’s complete skeletonized stainless steel liners are all coated in black to match the overall design scheme. The Ambitious has a reliable LinerLock system that locks the blade securely open while in use.
