Description CRKT Bear Claw™ Young and intelligent custom knifemaker Russ Kommer spent many years working out of Anchorage, Alaska. Because of the weather and the labour people are performing, the conditions are difficult. Since he created the first Bear Claw, he hasn’t been able to keep up with demand. He predicted that a knife that was simple to hold and difficult to lose would be quite popular. His first idea was a lightweight, accessible, and controllable self-defense knife for women. But it seems like everyone who sees one, even bush pilots, commercial fishermen, wants one. As a result, Russ and CRKT® collaborated to create the production Bear Claw, a cutting device that functions like an extension of your hand due to the large finger hole. For anyone who needs to quickly cut rope, webbing, or netting, particularly if their life is at stake, it is the ideal emergency cutting tool. The CRKT Bear Claw is the perfect tool for law enforcement and emergency rescue professionals because it has a Triple-Point Serrated edge with a tear drop tip for quick cutting without the risk of point penetration. The blade is made of corrosion-resistant full-tang, taper-ground AUS 4 stainless steel with a polished finish. For maximum blade control and safety, friction grooves are positioned on the blade spine, choil, and close to the tip. The CRKT Bear Claw is 3.4 oz, which is both light and substantial. For the Bear Claw, CRKT® created one of their signature high-tech sheaths made of robust, resilient, injection-molded glass-filled nylon and weighing only 1.1 oz. The knife may be released effectively and quickly with merely a thumb push or a forceful pull against the sheath. To attach the large black stainless steel pocket clip to either end of it, use the Torx® tool and screws in the moulded-in threaded fittings. Additionally, the sheath contains belting slots and seven lanyard holes that allow for a variety of carrying positions with the included lanyard.
